A.Sense

Background:

A.Sense was a Denver, Colorado based merchant selling hand made furniture and home decor accessories, imported from around the world. A.Sense needed an online presence from scratch, and had heavy e-commerce requirements. Their design requests were a light, clean and modern look.

Results:

Onit Solutions created a flash introduction for the website (these were still popular in 2002), and provided an elegant flash navigation menu to choose a store category - featuring each of the senses. Their shopping cart was constructed with Miva Merchant, with heavy script customization to attain the stylish custom look to the shopping cart pages.

However, in 2003 a Pier 1 opened close to their brick and mortar store in Denver, and in early 2004 a Great Indoors was opened down the road. Unfortunately, A.Sense couldn't sustain their overhead once the competition moved in, and had to close their doors.
