Soil-Q Identity




Background:

Soil-Q released a groundbreaking, all-organic fertilizer in the summer of 2004. A key goal for the Soil-Q identity was to center the design around the organic nature of the fertilizer, and play off the public's increased awareness of environmentally conscious products.

Results:

The key target market for the Soil-Q team was farmers of all types for the high volume usage, and subsequently the general population for use on lawns and houseplants. The final logo design above is designed to target the farming community for their initial product launch. The typeface conveys the organic qualities of the fertilizer, and the tall wheat hovering over the logo symbolizes a healthy and successful crop.
